Internet domain names and the interaction with intellectual property

This is the third in a series of articles looking at the interaction between domain names and intellectual property. It outlines various objectionable registration and other practices associated with domain names, the most well known of which is cybersquatting. The legal and dispute resolution processes by which objectionable domain names can be transferred away from their registrants or cancelled (in particular, procedures and relative timescales and costs) will be dealt with in a later article.
