A New Framework for E Academic Advising

In order to provide a comprehensive advising solution student visibility and accessibility to available advising appointments is essential. Making student access to advisors simple and convenient is facilitated by the University Academic Advising System. Student Academic Advising is an important and always time-consuming effort in academic life. Online technologies are moving advising out of academic offices onto an integrated part of the university student information system, where students gain anytime, anywhere access to advisers and tools to help them succeed. This paper shows the King Abdul Aziz attempts to solve a technology-based problem by developing and evaluating a new framework for the E Academic Advising (Online Advisor) that helps advisors and students make better use of the present university student information system with full consideration of the importance of Face-to-Face Contact between Faculty and Students. As an E framework, the paper also shows how to integrate a new module of Academic Advising technically into the running student information system. The paper focus on the real and completed integration of the E Advising system into the running Student Information System
