Design of artificial neuron controller for STATCOM in dSPACE environment

► A proto type model of a STATCOM of ±1KVAR is developed. ► MATLAB-dSPACE real time interface is developed. ► A SPWM program, to control the 6 IGBTs, has been developed using the DSP. ► PI and ANNC controllers are designed in the dSPACE environment. ► The results of these two controllers are compared and analyzed.
