Design and investigation of gear drives with non-circular gears applied for speed variation and generation of functions

The paper covers design and generation of gear drives with non-circular gears: (a) a gear drive formed by an eccentric involute one and by a non-circular gear; (b) generation of functions by non-circular gears. The developed theory is illustrated with numerical examples.
