Influence of protocol converter processing power upon network efficiency

The paper compares behaviour of TNC controllers (playing a role of protocol converters) under various transmission parameters. Similar set of tests is performed on few different models of TNC, which differ in CPU clock frequency and memory capacity. It is shown in small experimental network what influence these construction parameters have upon the efficiency of a network containing such converters.
