Eurozone network “Connectedness” after fiscal year 2008

- After 2008, the Eurozone network was less dense than in prior periods.
- Network topology can predict the effects of bad events in different contexts.

This study shows that the density relationships (connectedness) among both financial and non-financial entities listed in the Eurozone were reduced after the 2008 fiscal year, when the recent financial crisis exacerbated its effects.
