Scheduling a maintenance activity and due-window assignment based on common flow allowance

► We study a single machine scheduling and due-date assignment problem. ► Job-dependent due-dates are determined by a common flow-allowance. ► An optional maintenance activity which improves the machine performance is assumed. ► Job processing times may be deteriorating or generally position-dependent. ► All problems are solved in polynomial time.
