The cost allocation issue in joint replenishment

► Stable allocations for joint replenishment cost using EOQ do not always exist. ► Even when they do, there is no known guaranteed method. ► Also, computation may be difficult, or costs may not be accurate. ► We show a technique to predict sensitivity of stability to cost adjustments. ► Our simulation suggests a highly likely, easily computable stable method.
