Prospects of Implementing CO2 Capture and Sequestration (CCS) in the Proposed Supercritical Coal Power Plants in India

This study is to understand the economic & environmental impacts of implementing CCS in the Supercritical Coal power plants with the help of Integrated Environment Control Model (IECM-cs). Two technology options, viz. post-combustion CO2 absorption from flue gas and oxy-fuel combustion with CO2 capture, have been analyzed.
