Advanced electron microscopy characterization of nanomaterials for catalysis

The application of various advanced TEM techniques has made tremendous impact on the understanding of the catalytic activity of nanocrystals, as shown with an example of Pt-Pb/Pt core/shell electrocatalyst for oxygen reduction reaction. In this work, I summarize the recently published results on the structure-property relationship of metallic catalysts from the perspective of methodology.211
