In this paper we study the novel Cattaneo-Christov heat flux model for three-dimensional flow of Jeffrey fluid. Flow is bounded by a bidirectional stretching surface. Heat transfer by Cattaneo-Christov heat flux characterizing the feature of thermal relaxation is studied. Non-dimensional differential systems are obtained. The velocity and temperature distributions are determined in series form. Appropriate values of the so called auxiliary parameter are determined for the convergence of the developed solutions. The contributions of several flow parameters are studied in detail. Further the heat transfer rate is characterized by numerical data. Our findings reveal that the heat transfer rate is higher for larger thermal relaxation parameter.
