Efficacy of intravenous lidocaine and magnesium in intractable trigeminal neuralgia: A preliminary report

- A combination of 1.25 g magnesium and 100 mg lidocaine had been introduced to use in ntractable TN patients at our center.
- An analysis was performed in seven patients with the mixture of 1.25 g magnesium and 100 mg lidocaine.
- Patients experienced pain relief after the treatment protocol. And the lower doses proved to be a safe and efficacy protocol.
