Autophagy protects against oxidized low density lipoprotein-mediated inflammation associated with preeclampsia

We conclude that impaired autophagy in preeclampsia has potential to decrease trophoblast protection from oxidative and inflammatory stress, thereby contributing to the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.
