Obtaining reliability values from nonparametric receiver: the “optimal” parameter choice

In what follows a coded DHA FH OFDMA system employing short block MDS codes as inner codes in time domain and a nonparametric detector is considered. For the system under consideration dependencies of the probability of erroneous decoding and denial probability for the inner codes on the detector parameter that is used to compute reliability values for the symbols of inner code are investigated.
