Contractive operators on semiprime f-algebras

The main topic of the present paper is a generalization of two theorems about extreme points in the convex set of all positive contractive operators on f-algebras with unit and on Stone f-algebras, respectively, to the more general setting of semiprime f-algebras. Moreover, a lattice characterization of extreme contractive operators is given.
