Gold stabilized aqueous sols immobilized on mesoporous CeO2-Al2O3 as catalysts for the preferential oxidation of carbon monoxide

► 0.9 wt.% Au/Al2O3-CeO2 samples were prepared for the CO-PROX reaction. ► One of the samples resulted very active and selective already at 35 °C. ► The catalytic activity was correlated with the structural characteristics.
