Spin-probe ESR and molecular modeling studies on calcium carbonate dispersions in overbased detergent additives

Surfactant architecture of overbased calcium carbonate detergents, used as detergent additives in lubricating oils, is investigated by using ESR in combination with stable free radical nitroxide spin-probes.
