Electric double layer and electrostatic interaction of hydrophobic particles

Developed theoretical model of interparticle interaction shows strong dependence of the electrostatic repulsion energy U/U0 on the change of dielectric permittivity at the thin layer of water near a hydrophobic surface ε1/ε.
