Solution synthesis of magnesium hydroxide sulfate hydrate nanobelts using sparingly soluble carbonate salts as supersaturation control agents

Sparingly soluble carbonate salts could be used to control the supersaturation for solution synthesis of magnesium hydroxide sulfate hydrate nanobelts at ambient pressure and boiling temperature. The method described in this paper can be easily scaled up.
