RETRACTED: Adsorption of cyanuric acid on activated carbon from aqueous solution: Effect of carbon surface modification and thermodynamic characteristics

Please see http://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy.Reason: This paper has been retracted because of ethical conflicts resulting from the actions of one of the co-authors.The first author Mr. Sukdeb Pal worked on kinetics, adsorption isotherms and other aspects of cyanuric acid adsorption in his previous institute, Hindustan Lever Research Centre, Mumbai 400099, for several months. Modification of acid-treated carbon by ammonia also formed a part of his work done at his previous institute. Mr. Pal used data obtained at that institute as shown in Fig 1(a) and (b) in this article without due authorization from that institute. Mr. Pal did not inform the corresponding author about this fact. Mr. Pal's previous institute claims that this action infringes professional ethics.To avoid any conflict of interest and to adhere to the ethical obligations the authors have requested the retraction of the article.
