Competitive adsorption of organic matter with phosphate on aluminum hydroxide

The SEC elution curves. Competitive adsorption between phosphate and organic acids on aluminum hydroxide was investigated. Humic acid molecules weight were adsorbed preferentially but were easily displaced by the specifically adsorbed phosphate.
