Dry sliding wear characteristics of glass-epoxy composite filled with silicon carbide and graphite particles

► Wear behavior hybrid composites were studied using pin-on-disc apparatus. ► The synergistic effect of SiCp and graphite fillers increases the wear resistance. ► Higher percentage of SiCp filler along with graphite shows higher wear. ► SEM micrographs reveal the mechanism of wear.
