Effect of expanded graphite (EG) dispersion on the mechanical and tribological properties of nitrile rubber/EG composites

► Graphite/rubber composites with micro- and nano-sized dispersion were prepared. ► Nanocomposites showed better mechanical properties and wear resistance. ► The effect of load and sliding speed on friction and wear is significant. ► Graphite lubricant film can reduce the coefficient of friction and wear rate.
