Propagation of uncertainty in ecological models of reservoirs: From physical to population dynamic predictions

► Uncertainty propagation from physical to ecological predictions was analysed and quantified. ► The analysis was conducted applying a coupled physical-ecological model to a Spanish reservoir. ► Physical uncertainty should not be neglected assessing ecological results. ► The predictions of the ecological model can be equally sensitive to variations in physical and ecological parameters.
