A note on two of Hrushovskiʼs constructions

In this paper we compare two of Hrushovskiʼs constructions which arise in different contexts (Hrushovski, preprint [5], Hrushovski, 1989 [4]) and we show that under certain hypotheses they coincide. Using a group theoretic approach we also exhibit a structure which satisfies these hypotheses.
