- QTLomes report comprehensive QTL information (map position, haplotype identity, effect).
- Unambiguous haplotype identity at QTLs can now be obtained by high density genotyping.
- QTLomes are complex and their study requires a reductionist approach.
- QTLome exploitation in breeding will benefit from improved meta-analysis, crop modelling and cloning.
