Characteristics and structure of turbulent 3D offset jets

► We investigated three-dimensional turbulent offset jets using particle image velocimetry. ► We examined the effects of offset height and Reynolds number on the structure of 3D offset jets. ► Effects of Reynolds number and offset height on the decay and growth rates exist close to the exit. ► This study provides additional insight and comprehensive data for validating numerical models.
