Novel pyrochlore-type La2Zr2O7: Eu3+ red phosphors: Synthesis, structural, luminescence properties and theoretical calculation

Single phase Eu3+ ions doped La2Zr2O7 phosphors were successfully prepared and exhibited intense red light emission with prefect thermal stability, which can be considered be a promising red phosphor candidate for the application in NUV or blue light pumped w-LEDs.287
