Nonenzymatic glucose sensor based on Cu-Cu2S nanocomposite electrode

► Cu2S nanoplates were synthesized on the Cu substrate by a simple etching method. ► The composites were directly used as electrode to detect nonenzymatic glucose. ► High sensitivity, high selectivity and low detection limit up to 0.1 μM.
