Minimum fluidization velocities for supercritical water fluidized bed within the range of 633-693Â K and 23-27Â MPa

► The hydrodynamics of a SCW fluidized bed were studied by experimental method. ► Ergun formula can be used to calculate the pressure drop of SCW fixed bed. ► A new correlation for minimum fluidization velocity was obtained.
