Roasting characteristics of specularite pellets with modified humic acid based (MHA) binder under different oxygen atmospheres

SEM images of 1.0 wt.% MHA specularite pellet roasted in N2 (A), 10% O2 (B) and 20% O2 (C) atmospheres. Phase compositions of the pellets roasted in N2 and 10% O2 atmospheres are hematite and magnetite, while only hematite exists in the pellet roasted in 20% O2.
