Photoluminescence and thermoluminescence properties of Pr3Â + doped ZnTa2O6 phosphor

Maximum red PL intensity was obtained from band to band excitation as approximated using the Kubelka-munk function to determine the band gap. The electron trapping centers that lead to phosphorescence were revealed using thermoluminescence spectroscopy.
