Mechanochemical synthesis of Fe3O4@(Mg-Al-OH LDH) magnetic composite

► A magnetic layered double hydroxide (LDH) was synthesized by a mechanochemical route. ► The magnetic composite shows a superparamagnetic behavior. ► This mechanochemical process is a facile and environmentally safe method.
