The direct dispersion of granular agglomerated carbon nanotubes in bismaleimide by high pressure homogenization for the production of strong composites

► A novel method to disperse agglomerated CNTs into polymers under high pressure homogenization. ► The nanotubes were well dispersed in the composite containing ~ 38 wt% nanotubes. ► The CNT/BMI resin showed improved mechanical properties.
