Molten salt route of well dispersive barium titanate nanoparticles

► Well dispersive BaTiO3 nanoparticles were synthesized by this eutectic salts route. ► The average size of 50 nm BaTiO3 nanoparticles can be obtained at a large scale. ► The formation mechanism of well dispersive BaTiO3 nanoparticles is proposed. ► BaTiO3 nanoparticles begin to show some sintering ability at low temperature. ► This route is simple and cheap to produce high purity BaTiO3 nanoparticles.
