Modeling of TABS-based thermally manageable buildings in Simulink

► An RC model of a TABS-equipped thermally manageable building is built in Simulink. ► Manageability requires correct selection of TABS thermal mass and envelope resistance. ► A manageable building with the right mass-envelope combination functions robustly. ► Operative temperature level can be maintained by low-power equipment as cooling tower. ► Operative temperature variation is primarily a function of thermal mass and resistance.
