Acoustic comfort evaluation for hypermarket workers

► Acoustic satisfaction is highly correlated with acoustic perceived intensity. ► Acoustic satisfaction is influenced by sources of acoustic annoyance. ► Noise indexes that better describe the subjective acoustic comfort were identified. ► Optimal “comfort” intervals for selected parameters were defined. ► LeqA and LA90 can be used to describe subjective auditory sensations.
