Modelling of NSM CFRP strips embedded in concrete using lap shear tests with epoxy adhesive
چکیده انگلیسی
Strengthening using near-surface mounted (NSM) carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) to increase the flexural and shear capacity of deficient reinforced concrete members is a promising method. Using the experimental results of single-lap shear testing with epoxy adhesive to develop a finite element model, the bond-slip relationships were obtained. ATENA 3-D finite element software was used to simulate the bond behaviour between NSM CFRP strips and concrete substrate. The developed numerical models have good agreement with the experimental results and can be used in the design of NSM CFRP-strengthened reinforced concrete members.
