Investigation of the effects of various parameters on pressure drop reduction in crude oil pipelines by drag reducing agents

► We examine the effect of adding drag reducing agent in crude oil flow. ► Effects of some experimental conditions on performance of DRA were investigated. ► DR% increases with temperature, oil flow rate, pipe roughness and DRA concentration. ► Pipe diameter has inverse effect on DR%.
