Non-linear dynamics of semi-dilute polydisperse polymer solutions in microfluidics: A study of a benchmark flow problem

► Comprehensive experimental data from molecular, rheometric and non-linear flow characterization of semi-dilute polymer solution are obtained. ► The flow behavior are sensitive to the existence of the extremely long molecules in polydisperse polymers. ► The nonlinear flow regimes of semi-dilute polymer solution in microfluidic are mapped in a Wi-Re diagram.
