Potassium sodium tartrate-assisted hydrothermal synthesis of BaLuF5:Yb3+/Er3+ nanocrystals

- BaLuF5:Yb3+/Er3+ nanocrystals (UCNPs) were synthesized by PST-assisted hydrothermal method.
- Narrow size distribution and good dispersibility of UCNPs were attributed to the effect of PST.
- Temperature, holding time and pH affected the formation of UCNPs.
