Design of ILIDS configurations for droplet characterization

► We present a simulator of interferometric laser imaging for droplet sizing experiments. ► Any imaging set-up is described in terms of ABCD transfer matrices. ► We design ILIDS set-ups for the characterization of droplets in a volume, or for microscopy configurations. ► The simulator allows the calibration of real time algorithms for droplet size determination.
