Decomposition of formaldehyde by EPD photocatalyst filters in HVAC

This study investigated the effectiveness of photocatalyst filters, fabricated by electrophoretic deposition (EPD) to apply TiO2 coating on stainless steel filters, for formaldehyde decomposition in heating ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system, showing photocatalytic efficiency of 35.59% at 21 °C and 36.39% at 26 °C.
