A new methodology for analysis of equivalent static wind loads on super-large cooling towers

► A new approach for analysis of ESWL on super-large cooling towers is proposed by CCM. ► The aero-elastic model test for simultaneous pressure and vibration measurement is carried out. ► The resonant term of ESWL plays a dominate role, and cross term should not be omitted. ► It is suggested that the wind vibration coefficients considered in subsection is given.
