Acoustical topology optimization of Zwicker's loudness with Padé approximation

► We address the computation time issue for computation of Zwicker's loudness. ► We present a scheme, which combines the FEM with the Padé approximation (PA). ► The PA can be extended to acoustical topology optimization for Zwicker's loudness. ► The proposed method results in significant reductions of the computational efforts.
