Comparison of drainage-constrained methods for DEM generalization

► This article compares three drainage-constrained methods for DEM generalization. ► We compared the accuracy of the elevations (i.e. RMSE) using the three methods. ► We compared the mean slope and surface roughness using the three methods. ► We compared the streamline matching rate and error using the three methods. ► Results show the Compound constrained-TIN algorithm offers the best performance.
