Assessment of the site effect vulnerability within urban regions by data envelopment analysis: A case study in Iran

► The vulnerability of a city against earthquake by DEA has been done. ► The 20 sub-regions of Shahr-e-Rey as decision making units (DMUs) were used. ► The inputs are PGA, liquefaction and the fault set back zone for each sub-regions. ► Earthquake hazard vulnerability ranking for each sub-region was (using DEA). ► To mitigate earthquake disaster advices to disaster managers were given.
