Dispersion analysis of the Pn−Pn−1DG mixed finite element pair for atmospheric modelling

- The discrete dispersion relation for the SWE is obtained.
- The schemes show benefits of staggered and unstaggered grids.
- Increasing the polynomial order increases the number of spectral gaps.
