Design of piezoelectric modal sensor for non-uniform Euler-Bernoulli beams with rectangular cross-section by using differential transformation method

► We design piezoelectric modal sensors for Euler-Bernoulli beams. ► We impose the differential transformation method (DTM) for modal sensor.► The DTM can be used for general boundary conditions and non-uniform beams. ► Numerical examples demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed modal sensors.
