One-pot synthesis of multicolor MnSe:ZnSe nanocrystals for optical coding

- We report a new method to precisely control the two distinct emission peaks of MnSe:ZnSe nanocrystals.
- Nucleation temperature significantly affects the size, concentration and present state of MnSe cores.
- Multicolor MnSe:ZnSe with various coding signals are obtained under different nucleation temperatures.
